T---p never should've "won" in 2016, and sadly that's why we are where we are. Voting matters, and a lot of people are learning the hard way, with a woman's right to choose in jeopardy in half the country. (Thank you Democrats for caring and being compassionate in the face of old white men wanting to turn back the clock.) But thank goodness you were born and that vasectomies are safe and legal. But the idea that there are these blowhard, bat-shit crazy, anti-life people (male and female) threatening you outside Planned Parenthood in Portland OR is just wrong. But I love your bottom line: Women Are People Too!

That was quite the storm we watched roll in before the deluge in FL.

And, speaking of FL., such a shit storm happening in that state and the world now.

Your writing is so powerful. This piece is right on point. I never thought in my lifetime I’d see abortion rights go backwards. It is so fucked up and will time travel us back to women taking drastic measures.

For me, I am grateful to have a beautiful, smart, and honest daughter. 🙏

Thank you for making me a Mom. I love you. 💕 We are having a good time in the pic.

Here’s to all the brave women whose choices and decisions will be made only by them. To the future. 🌻💚

I’d just come back from a vacation alone the weekend of Mother’s Day when my daughter fell ill. Before then, I was riding the high of the silence that greeted me from my room abroad. I watched the relegations of light dance on a wall, saw dust float, almost motionless in the air. I was back home but wanted to hold on to that feeling. I’m very lucky that two weeks out, I’m doing well. Frustration and doubt have been blips on the radar.
