I'm seeing themes of vulnerability and self-discovery - the ways that both sexual desire and medical need ask something really raw from our own bodies and, if we're lucky, a caring partner. There's something really lovely about this juxtaposition and I'm glad your story gave me the opportunity to consider what these elements have in common.
