"Time is passing at an alarming rate." 040122
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind today? Here we go! Day 35.
My mom sent me this hilarious pic of my little self yesterday. I’m going to admit that not much has changed. I still love big pretzels, record players, and red shoes. (Although I don’t wear heels anymore.) And while chatting with a dear friend on the phone yesterday he said the quote I used as the title of this piece today, and looking at this photo really made it sink in. Have you been thinking that time is passing at an alarming rate?
My husband came out of our home office yesterday and said, “A nice gentleman just thanked me over the phone for being such a helpful young man. He doesn’t know I’m 40.” And I replied, “Aw Snug, but you’re 41.” Maybe time really is passing at an alarming rate.
And then there’s this article I came across! Happy Friday.
What’s on your mind this morning? Welcome to a safe space to reflect light on three things, and please share in comments.
Cheers,
Jess
I thought I was middle aged! That is definite good news that I’m considered “young”. 👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻
Wonderful piece. Time continues to move quickly, especially the past two years of isolation. Here’s to Spring Awakening 2022. 💚🌻💚🌻
