'Til Tuesday
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind first thing in the morning? Welcome to a space to reflect light on three things from the night before. Day four.
My sweet husband bought me The Layover with Anthony Bourdain on Prime. It has always been my favorite (and publicly underrated) series by the genius. The Dublin and New Orleans episodes in season two are a must-watch! And I cannot stop watching them. My love of Tony goes very deep, but I’ll come back to this at another time. (Picture above is from Dublin, January 2020.)
Exciting news! The Hosmer Gallery at The Forbes Library in Northampton, MA, is featuring a creative nonfiction piece I wrote titled, “The Record Collection” for their virtual exhibit, “Home” beginning today. Link to follow this afternoon.
My husband and I Zoomed with one of our favorite couples last night. While we talked about some serious stuff, one person definitely fell asleep like an angel and stayed on the screen the entire time. That’s true love.
Bonus thought: Where are my socks?
Even if you’re still in bed, let’s hear from you, and then together we can all move forward with our day. Happy reading, writing, and connecting.
Cheers,
Jess
Celebration woohoo!!!
Love the bonus thought! 😂😂
