The Promise Of Spring 032122
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind first thing in the morning? Here we go, day 24!
The flowers are blooming, and it’s a promise of Spring. What do you find to be a promise of Spring?
I had a dream this morning that I was wicked close friends with Ted Lasso, and we had a ritual of going for a walk every Thursday afternoon around a college campus we both lived on. A very giddy way to start the day!
This morning my dad told me over the phone about a very intense and personal archiving project he’s starting.
He said, “This is probably going to take me about an hour or two a day for the next three or four years so I told your mother that if she doesn’t hear from me in the next…”
And I said, “What?! Three to four years?!” We laughed and laughed.
He said through the laughs, “Yea, that’s the last words he said to her for the next four years.” (Of course he only meant one to two hours, I hope.)
What’s on your mind today? Welcome to a safe space to reflect light on three things and share in comments. Happy reading, writing, and connecting!
Cheers,
Jess
I love your Promise of Spring. Here's to sunny days (and cozy rainy ones, too). Also, I've been marveling about dreams lately. I had such a vivid and friendly one last night involving Cousin Scott. It included good family conversations, fond memories, and a proposed visit to Fenway Park. Go figure. Keep those Morning After Thoughts coming!
Love your piece Mrs Snugs! And I sooooo wish you were buds with Ted 👨🏻👨🏻👨🏻!
