Sunday spring forwarding and jealousy 031322
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind first thing in the morning? Welcome to a safe space to reflect light on three things and share. Here we go, day 16.
Fashion has always been a major part of my life. With my undergraduate degree in business, I also got a minor in fashion management and marketing. I also have modeled a little bit from New York Fashion Week runways to jewelry commercials to nude modeling for Amherst College art students. I love when the clocks change because it means it’s time to clean out my closet and drawers and donate to the Hospice Shop. I smell Spring. Also, when and where will I wear my spectacular wedding dress again?
My husband and I had a Zoom date last night with a very good musician friend of ours. We talked about relationships and jealousy quite a bit.
Joel (my husband) said, “ Jealousy is healthy, but I didn’t marry a facsimile of Jess. I know she’s a love child, and if anything comes from a crush it will probably end up with me in a foursome.”
And I replied, “The real trouble starts if they stop getting jealous because then they just don’t give a fuck.” Thoughts?
Joel is playing Irish ditties over and over on the guitar this morning. He knows I want to be at The Brazenhead in Dublin every Sunday. (It’s closed forever now, but it’s the thought that counts.) And he’s really good!
What’s on your mind this morning? Even if you’re still in bed, share in the comment section your own Morning After Thoughts, and then together we can all move forward with our day. Happy reading, writing, and connecting!
Cheers,
Jess
Thank you Mrs Snugs! That’s high praise and I love you so❤️❤️❤️❤️
And one day soon, may we travel back to Ireland for lots of craic. 💚🌻
