Sunday Funday with panache 042422
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind today? Welcome to a space to reflect light on three things, and please share if you're comfortable doing so. Day 55!
Today I was part of a Zoom writing group where I reflected on reasons to live through the apocalypse. Curious about my scribbles? You can read a few of them below! What are yours?
Joely’s acoustic guitar playing and singing Irish ditties to me every Sunday morning, and yes, he throws in some Taylor Swift. Fresh mountain air. Wine. Family gatherings with hugs. Fancy dresses and hats. Fine art. LAUGHTER TILL IT HURTS. New Orleans music. Sex. Snuggles. Photo albums to reminisce traveling to places and hopefully begin again. The prospect of healthy lungs and breathing easier. Sparkles. Seahorses. Dance parties. Artichoke hearts, pickles, and olives. Dublin. Tutus. Anthony Bourdain reruns.
I also want to thank everyone who bought my book recently, For Better And Worse. You gems are the best! Happy reading, and happy Sunday!
I am so glad you have outlets for your fantastic writing. 🙏
What a wonderful list you created. Here’s to all fun things this summer. 🌻💚Especially ocean breezes and sunsets. 🌊 🌅
Love that pic…so happy. 🥰
I love your lineup of good things, things that make life more livable, and fun... from family gatherings with hugs and New Orleans music to breathing easier, sparkles, pickles, and Anthony Bourdain reruns. I love it! And I love that your book is still selling after all these years! I think I said, when you were writing the book, that many of your stories are timeless. Proof positive, indeed!
