Men, Women, and Children 032822
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind first thing in the morning? Here we go, Day 31.
My father and husband were chatting the other evening about how they both lost 25 pounds throughout the last two years. They agreed it was maybe the only silver lining of the pandemic. Men sometimes have the ability to look at the good. I used to consider myself an optimist, but after these last couple of years, I find it really difficult to come up with a silver lining. It would have to be that my husband and I are living together. Before March 2020, he lived on the road flying the friendly skies four days a week. Do you have any silver linings?
A wonderful woman I know is repurposing old and broken jewelry to give to others who are struggling with either finances and/or not feeling good about themselves. I think this is a seriously awesome creative project.
Some young kiddos I know are finally able to get their vaccines! This makes me smile about the future of Spring and hopefully being able to see them.
What’s on your mind today? Welcome to a safe space to reflect light on three things, and please share in comments.
Cheers,
Jess
They are now the unfriendly skies. I’m elated I no longer have to live most of the week on the road. My commute is much shorter now. Lunch break with my Snug every day? Yes please!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wonderful uplifting piece. My silver lining from the last two years, is being able to cook and bake Vegan foods everyday (since being semi-retired). 👩🍳Also, to share with my neighbor. Here’s to summer gatherings. 🌻💚🌻💚
