March Mardi Gras
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind first thing in the morning? Welcome to a space to reflect light on three things from the night before. Day five.
If I can’t be in New Orleans at least WWOZ always makes me feel like I’m still a part of the fun. Mr. Snugs and I danced our faces off in our kitchen during his lunch break yesterday. How I miss that city. 2023 Jazz Fest perhaps? Time to turn on the radio!
I had an interesting conversation with a friend on Zoom about how we both have had break-ups with close girlfriends over the last couple of years. Luckily we now have each other, but friendships ending are sometimes harder to process than romantic ones.
The Hosmer Gallery at Forbes Library link I promised you yesterday. https://forbeslibrary.org/exhibit2022/prose-poetry/jessica-b-sokol
(And I found my socks!)
Even if you’re still in bed, let’s hear from you, and then together we can all move forward with our day. Happy reading, writing, and connecting.
Cheers,
Jess
So happy you found your socks! And I CAN NOT WAIT to get back to NOLA with you ❤️❤️🎉
Happy Spring! Happy Mardi Gras. 💃💐💚
