Fried Pickles, Coloring, and One Book Left. 031522
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind first thing in the morning? Welcome to a safe space to reflect light on three things and share. Here we go, day 18.
Broadside Books on Main Street in Northampton, MA, called to let me know they only have one more of my books, For Better And Worse, left! I probably won’t be replenishing my supply there in person soon, so if you haven’t picked up a copy locally for yourself or for a gift, get on over there before they’re all gone! It’s a scandalous collection of true stories in my late-20s in Portland, Oregon, revolving around sex-filled nights, relationship dramas, and shots of love (and Jameson) on the side.
I’ve been having a hell of a hard time sleeping to the point that I’m watching Gilmore Girl reruns until 7 am, and then it’s morning. I started coloring at night which is supposed to help ease anxiety and initiate a sense of calm. I’ll keep ya posted on how that develops. Do you have any quirky sleeping tips?
Remember when I said I make homemade pickles? Well sometimes I fry them, and they’re fantastic. It may be that kind of day here.
What’s on your mind this morning? Even if you’re still in bed, share in the comment section your own Morning After Thoughts, and then together we can all move forward with our day. Happy reading, writing, and connecting!
Cheers,
Jess
