Happy June, my friends.
Today, I’m sharing a piece that is near and dear to my heart. “A Love Letter to the City of New Orleans” is published in the summer edition of Still Point Arts Quarterly. The fires and floods-themed issue is spectacularly stunning, and I’m honored to be a part of it. You can check out the online edition here. This story of mine features an epic clip of Stevie Wonder at JazzFest in 2016 on the last page. He’s singing in the pouring rain over a megaphone after the power went out over the festival fairgrounds. Quite a sight and a memory!
Here is the summer issue in full. Physical copies are also available to order. They make beautiful gifts and are filled with gorgeous art, poetry, stories, and more.
Were you lucky enough to go to JazzFest this past year? I certainly hope to be back soon. Enjoy the piece and have a wonderful week, my friends.
So excited!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations 🎊 on the article being published. It’s an incredible story. Very proud of you. Love you. 😍💚🌻
