A Case of the Mondays
From sex and family drama to work woes and hangovers, what's on your mind first thing in the morning? Welcome to a space to reflect light on three things from the night before. Day three.
My family pooch, Lutey, passed on last month at the age of 95 (in human years). I miss her sweet furry paws and face. I just want to fluff her hairs looking at this photo above.
I gave my mom a bag of sunflower seeds to plant last year. Once the snow melts, I hope they’ll start growing. Sunflowers are the national flower of Ukraine.
While I was hanging with my family last night, I got my period. I came out of the bathroom and jokingly said, “Joel, I thought when you got a vasectomy I wouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense anymore.” We all burst out laughing.
Even if you’re still in bed, let’s hear from you, and then together we can all move forward with our day. Happy reading, writing, and connecting.
Cheers,
Jess
